Case Study: COOP Alleanza

REQUIREMENT

The new Ipercoop replaced the previous supermarket on Via Giardini 77. The new store, larger than the previous one, with an area of 4,000 square metres, aims at serving the town in a more complete and modern way.
The new Coop was designed to be "green": the building was in fact designed and built with techniques and measures that minimise the environmental impact thanks to a structure with thermal insulating materials and laminated wood roof, and with particularly efficient systems, which guarantee lower energy consumption than those of a "traditional" store.
The request of our fire-fighting system is part of the safety measures of the building according to the current standard.

IDROELETTRICA’S PROPOSAL

In order to fully respond to this request, a FIREBOX outdoor fire-fighting module was offered with a fire-fighting unit provided for suction lift installation, made with submerged vertical pumps (Vertical Turbine Pumps) in full compliance with UNI EN 12845 and UNI EN 11292 standards.
This system solution has the following peculiarities: Technical compartment completely pre-assembled with electrical and hydraulic wiring, accessible from all sides, CE declaration of conformity that concerns the entire structure.
Possibility of reusing the FIREBOX in other places than the one of origin.

THE RESULT

In this case, a constructive engineering analysis was carried out in parallel with the designer in order to facilitate and optimise the construction phases of the system itself and the work as a whole.
