The desire to renew itself, positively combining the solid and well-rooted foundations of the Company with the objectives of continuous growth and development is the salient feature of the third generation that has arrived in the company and which, in anticipation of growth expected for the next few years, built the new factory. Safety and sustainability are the founding values ​​of the company that works daily to guarantee customers the best quality in full compliance with these values.
The request for a fire protection system to cover the building is part of the design of the new headquarters.

To protect a packaging production activity against the danger of fire, it is essential to understand that we are dealing with materials that can generate fires, which develop with great speed in all directions. Therefore, when it comes to protecting this type of activity, it is essential to create systems that include both a hydrant network and a foam extinguishing system. Thanks to suitable dispensers, the foam flows freely on the burned surfaces and forms a blanket that divides the surface of the fire from the air causing the suffocation action. The other extinguishing action of relevant efficacy is that of cooling due to the endothermic reaction, determined by the change of state, from liquid to gaseous, of the water.
In addition to the power supply systems of the hydrants network, Idroelettrica spa supplies fire-fighting pressurization units able to mix the water with the foam contained in the premixer and to correctly activate the dispensers in the field. In this way the fire water supply (tank with pumps) will be able to reach the complete extinguishing of the fire.

In agreement with the designer, a fire-fighting pressurization unit compliant with UNI EN 12845-UNI 10779 standards was proposed for the foam system and a pressurization unit for the hydrant system for complete protection of the entire structure. This is a complete solution that we have proposed to the customer to his full satisfaction.
