Case Study: Cotonella
Need
The company, which in 2016 was destroyed by a big fire, in just one year was back fully operational in its historic headquarters along state road 42. A completely enlarged and renovated structure, made with wooden components and a huge window, perfectly integrated into the environment that surrounds it with an 8-pitched wooden roof, supported by 11 spectacular portals in laminated wood which takes up the traditional image of mountain buildings. To complete the work, the need arose to install the fire prevention system also in the logistics center in the nearby town of EDOLO. The customer wanted both the FIREBOX and the water reserve customized with a RAL 8019 that was in harmony with the company colors.
Hydroelectric proposal
The proposal we made to the customer involves the use of a compact system with a technical room and integrated water reserve.
This system called FIREBLOCK is an effective and reliable active protection against fire. In this specific case, the system was created with a special color indicated by the customer, so that it would be perfectly integrated with the company's plant layout.
