METHOD OF BURIAL OF A TANK IN THE ABSENCE OF AQUIFERS
- Proceed with a perimeter clearance of at least 50 cm or as prepared by any plans related to the specific construction site.
- The depth of the excavation must be calculated to allow at least the making of a 30 cm of stabilised and 20 cm of sand.
- After excavation, distribute at least 30 cm of stabilised and 20 cm of sand on the bottom, all suitably levelled (Step 1).
- Using a suitable lifting device, position the tank in the intended position.
- Then proceed with the operations of levelling of the tank, filling the tank up to 50%, then start the backfilling of the excavation with fine sand until it is filled up to 50% (Step 2)
- Complete the filling of the tank.
- Connect all necessary piping.
- Complete the filling of the excavation with fine sand (Step 3), the last 50 cm can be filled with suitable soil to the desired surface level (Step 4).

Filling of 50% of the tank and subsequent filling of the excavation with fine sand.

Complete the filling of the tank. . Further filling with fine sand.

Completion of the burying
