Firebox SOM

FireboxSom - Idroelettrica Spa

Firebox SOM is a complete and autonomous prefabricated outdoor fire pump room, designed for systems with submersible pumps as main pumps, supplied connected, tested, and operational.

  • Flow rate Q up to 150 m³/h
  • Head H up to 166 m w.c.
  • Electric Pumps up to 30 kW

Firebox SOM is a fire pump room designed as a technical enclosure for systems using submersible pumps in firefighting applications. The module is installed on a structure prepared by the client and integrates the completion components required by standards, delivered already connected, tested, and operational to reduce site times and startup risks.
The configuration of the firefighting module with submersible pumps is designed to ensure orderly installation, accessibility, and safety during maintenance and inspections. Access is via fully openable hinged doors, a solution that facilitates component handling and the management of interventions in technical spaces.
Firebox SOM is developed in accordance with the requirements of UNI EN 12845, UNI 11292, UNI 10779, CEI 64-8, and the provisions of Legislative Decree 81/08 (occupational safety). The structure is designed for even complex contexts (e.g., installation constraints and safety requirements) and, thanks to the modular setup, allows for shipping without the need for oversized transport in many configurations.
