1979
The Origins
Idroelettrica was founded in San Cesario sul Panaro (MO) by Giancarlo Alberghini, a young entrepreneur who, driven by his passion, created a small workshop for the manufacture of electric pumps and electrical control panels.
1992
Entrepreneurship
The company left the small workshop and moved to a proper industrial facility of 4,500 sq m, strengthening its identity on the national territory
1994
The First Product
The first fire-fighting pumping unit compliant with UNI 9490 is manufactured.
2001
The Turning Point
Construction of the first prefabricated fire pump station, named Firebox.
2008
UNI 11292
The first FIREBLOCK, built in compliance with UNI 11292, is launched. Its success is immediate.
2018
Rapid Growth
The new production site is opened, tripling the company’s operational space. In addition to the manufacturing departments and warehouse, the new facility includes new executive offices, Research & Development offices, a conference room, a permanent training area, and a 130 kW photovoltaic system that makes a significant contribution to the company’s energy-saving policies, in which the company has long been at the forefront.
2025
Toward Excellence
The production area is further expanded by 10,000 m² to accommodate new automated systems, increasing production capacity.
Today, the total production floor area is 26,000 m².
