EPRO CONTROL

Remote supervision of firefighting pump sets — EPRO CONTROL with 4.3‑inch TFT display and RS‑485 - Idro‑elettrica S.p.A.
EPRO CONTROL - Idro-elettrica S.p.A.

Remote supervision of firefighting pump sets: EPRO CONTROL remotely relays the alarms from EPRO DIESEL, EPRO ELECTRIC and EPRO ENERGY panels to a permanently attended station, as required by UNI EN 12845:2020.

Remote supervision of firefighting pump sets is the primary function of the EPRO CONTROL panel, designed to centralize and make remotely available the alarms detected by EPRO family panels installed on the pumps and auxiliary/jockey pumps. In a fire‑protection system, UNI EN 12845:2020 requires that system alarms be transmitted to a permanently attended station, either inside or outside the building: EPRO CONTROL was developed to meet this requirement in an orderly, scalable and easily integrable manner.
The panel allows RS485 connection using shielded cable (type 2×0.75 FGOR or an equivalent compatible cable depending on the installation site), with lengths up to 800 m, thus enabling supervision where the pump room and the reception/control room are not adjacent. EPRO CONTROL can manage up to 8 EPRO devices simultaneously, making it suitable for both compact systems and more complex installations.
The platform is designed for simple daily use: graphic display, message screens, clear status and alarm indications, plus optional GSM alarm reporting. This makes remote supervision of firefighting pump sets more immediate and traceable, reducing response times and improving risk monitoring.
