Case study: Life spa

REQUIREMENT

The request of our fire-fighting system is part of the safety measures of the building according to the current standard. 
The plant of 24,800 square metres includes the following departments: toasting and salting, rehydration, mixing, control and packaging; in addition to an internal analysis laboratory. 
The customer, very attentive to marketing, asks us to keep the company colours even in the FIRE-FIGHTING ROOM.

IDROELETTRICA’S PROPOSAL

A room has been proposed consisting of a FIREBOX prefabricated outdoor fire-fighting module, structure in steel profiles of adequate thickness, protected with intumescent paint in order to achieve a fire resistance of 60 minutes (R60) UNI EN12845:2020 10.3.1 and custom painting according to the customer’s request, typical colouring of LIFE SPA.
The proposed pressurisation unit comprises two diesel motor pumps and 1 pilot pump.
