Coop Alliance 3.0

Coop Alleanza 3.0 Logo - Idro-elettrica S.p.A.
The new Ipercoop COOP Alleanza has replaced the previous store at Via Giardini 77, offering a larger floor area (4,000 m²) and more modern services for the community. The project was developed with a “green” approach, thanks to thermal insulation materials, a laminated wood roof, and energy-efficient systems. In this context, fire protection was an essential element for ensuring the building’s safety in accordance with current regulations.

Client requirements

The customer requested a fire protection system that:
  • ensure that the new retail location complies with rules and is properly protected;
  • it were reliable and easy to manage and maintain over time;
  • integrate with the construction project, optimizing the various phases of the project’s implementation;
  • include documentation and certifications necessary for the completion of fire safety procedures.

Idroelettrica's proposal

Idroelettrica has introduced the FIREBOX outdoor fire suppression module, featuring a sub-sill configuration and equipped with VTP (Vertical Turbine Pumps) submersible pumps, in full compliance with UNI EN 12845 and UNI EN 11292.Key Features of the Solution:
  • fully pre-assembled technical compartment with electrical and hydraulic wiring;
  • accessibility from all sides for inspection and maintenance;
  • EC Declaration of Conformity covering the entire structure (full module);
  • The FIREBOX can be reused at a different site, thanks to its prefabricated and modular design.

The Result

Working in parallel with the designer, Idroelettrica carried out construction engineering work to facilitate and optimize the construction phases of the plant and the overall project. Collaboration with the client’s engineering firms made it possible to integrate the system efficiently, with comprehensive documentation and certifications to support the completion of fire safety procedures. The result is a compliant, reliable system designed to simplify management and maintenance over time.
