Eurofire SOM is an automatic fire pump-set featuring submerged main electric pumps and a submerged jockey pump, ideal when inlet conditions and space constraints make traditional solutions not feasible.
Eurofire SOM is a UNI EN 12845-compliant pump-set solution designed to mitigate common inlet-related installation issues, such as elevation differences, high head losses, and unfavorable piping lengths. The series uses submersible service pumps (main and jockey), a configuration particularly suitable when the technical room is too small to host a conventional horizontal pump set.
Submersible electric pumps, as referenced by the standard (UNI EN 12845 10.6.1), should be considered a solution to be adopted when it has not been possible to provide horizontal pumps with positive suction or Vertical Turbine Pumps (VTP) solutions. In this context, Eurofire SOM provides a compact, automatic system oriented toward continuous service, with sized and configured components in compliance with UNI EN 12845 requirements, including controls, protections, and discharge line.
