Firecompact - Idroelettrica Spa

Firecompact is a fire protection module with integrated water reserve designed for activities requiring a single type supply, such as tourist-hotel facilities up to 100 beds, when the water network is insufficient.

Firecompact was created to solve cases where the water supply (or existing network) cannot guarantee the flow rate and autonomy required by fire protection regulations. The system integrates a storage water reserve and a pressurization unit in a single ready-to-install solution, with hydraulic and electrical accessories already provided to meet the requirements of UNI EN 12845.

The module is dedicated particularly to those activities falling under hazard level 1 according to UNI 10779 (for example tourist-hotel activities under 100 beds, class PB according to RTV 09/08/2016) and requiring a single water supply.

For level 1, UNI 10779 requires simultaneous supply of no. 4 hose reels , guaranteeing for each flow rate ≥ 35 l/min and pressure ≥ 0.2 MPa, with autonomy ≥ 30 min. Under these conditions, the theoretical volume to be stored can reach approximately 4.2 m³: for this reason Firecompact is designed with modular logic, so as to increase storage when water supply replenishment is insufficient to cover the required 30 minutes.

    • with three reserves in parallel, replenishment may not be a determining factor in calculating available reserve (based on project sizing).
  • Suitable for hospitality facilities: practically supports typical requirements of hose reel systems for limited risk level.

Customizations
