Firebrake

Firebrake - Idroelettrica Spa

Fire pump module with integrated water reserve Firebrake: compact “all-in-one” outdoor solution with pressurization pump set and galvanized tanks integrated in the FIREBOX, to reduce footprint and frost-related issues.

  • Flow rate Q up to 30 m³/h
  • Head H up to 80 m.w.c.
  • Electric pumps up to 15 kW
  • Water reserve capacity up to 6 m³

Fire pump module with integrated water reserve Firebrake is a water supply system for fire protection installations in outdoor version, designed to provide both the technical room and the water reserve required for service in a single supply. The solution consists of two main elements: a FIREBOX module housing a fire pressurization pump set compliant with UNI EN 12845 with centrifugal pumps, and a water reserve made with galvanized rectangular tanks for fire protection use, installed in parallel and located inside the FIREBOX.
The maximum achievable geometric volume of the reserve is 6 m³. The reserve is complete with 2″ fill valve and alarm floats for minimum and maximum level, for safer and more controlled management. The complete integration inside the module protects connections and components, reducing typical problems of outdoor installations, such as frost risk and exposure to weather.
Firebrake is calculated and designed by qualified engineer and is manufactured following the requirements of UNI EN 1090 (Part 1 and 2) for correct execution of metal structures and related certification. The system also complies with the main system and safety standards: UNI EN 12845, UNI 11292, UNI EN 10779, CEI 64-8 and the provisions of Legislative Decree 81/08, making it suitable for contexts where compliance, accessibility, and operational reliability are critical.
