Idroelettrica outdoor fire‑water reservoir: monobloc tanks fabricated from Fe360B / S235JR steel, pressure‑tested and fitted with anti‑corrosion protection and plant‑connection provisions for safe, controlled tank operation.
Outdoor firefighting water reserve is the solution designed for storing service water for firefighting systems when an accessible, inspectable tank that is easily integrated with the pumping station is required. Idroelettrica S.p.A. manufactures monobloc tanks for outdoor installation, fabricated from Fe360B – S235JR steel (UNI EN 10025‑2) and supplied complete with handling equipment and plant connection fittings.
Fabrication is carried out under qualified procedures: welds are executed by personnel certified to UNI EN 287/1 using IT‑SG3 welding wire to achieve high‑strength joints (up to 600 N/mm²). Each tank is pressure-tested at 1.5 bar and protected with specialized anti-corrosion coatings: two-component epoxy on the exterior and gray two-component epoxy on the interior (for non-food applications).
From a functional standpoint, the tank can be configured to allow for continuous level monitoring and equipped with an anti-vortex plate, which helps limit the minimum head above the inlet and makes more complete use of the storage volume, as specified in UNI EN 12845. The result is a robust outdoor fire protection water reservoir, designed and verified through structural analysis, ready to be connected to pump-sets and replenishment systems.
