Macron wears Idroelettrica's fire-fighting system for safety

REQUIREMENT
MACRON needed to expand its headquarters quickly, given the sudden increase in turnover, so it started the project of the new building, which is a few hundred metres as the crow flies from the existing one, thus moving within two years from the idea to the complete realisation.
The new headquarters in via Pastore, the VGP Park Valsamoggia, owned by VGP, a pan-European company that owns, develops and manages high-quality logistics parks and semi-industrial parks, covers an area of 55,000 square metres, with two buildings. The part reserved for the warehouse is 16,106 metres and the office building is 6,678 meters.
The fire-fighting system had to be located in a position that could control both buildings.

IDROELETTRICA’s PROPOSAL
In proposing the system, the Idroelettrica team took into account both the production warehouse, packaging and shipping, and the office building, inserting the pressurisation units composed of hydrant system according to UNI EN 12845:2019 with 2 horizontal axis motor pumps 1 maintenance pilot pump that allows you to control the pressure and keep it constant and for sprinkler systems 1 NFPA20 split case motor pump and 1 pilot pump, inside a technical room already prepared by the construction company.

RESULT
The pressurisation units were placed in a suitable area located in a central strategic area between the two buildings in order to easily reach all the departments of the buildings, in case of emergency, with the expected hydraulic performance.
Also this time, the goal set was achieved with customer satisfaction.
