CANTINE RIUNITE & CIV draws on the expertise of Idroelettrica S.p.A. for the Prosecco vineyard in Carlino (UD)

REQUIREMENT
The need presented by the customer was part of a broader project aimed at producing sustainable innovations to support the wine sector to streamline the inputs in the vineyards following the new needs for change with particular regard to the agronomic (optimisation of nutrition and irrigation) and phytosanitary (improvement of the protection of the vine from the main diseases) aspects, respecting environmental and economic sustainability.
Specifically, it was necessary to create the irrigation system of the Prosecco vineyard located in Carlino, making it completely automatic with the possibility of remote control from the headquarters, with completely underground systems.

IDROELETTRICA’S PROPOSAL
After careful inspection by our technicians, a complex project was developed that included the construction of the irrigation system on the "glera" vine (cultivated area 55 ha), the drilling of an artesian well, the related geological practices, the supply and installation of a submerged pump of 11kW (flow rate 30 m3/h at 4 mt), pipes, fittings and inverter control panel with main line always under pressure thanks to a 300 L autoclave, pressure transmitter.
A valve opening transmission system was also provided complete with receivers and transmitter, materials for electrical connections and antenna. In addition, the vineyard has been equipped with GPRS system with SIM CARD and modem for remote control from the remote station in Campegine (RE).

THE RESULT
The irrigation system has allowed the customer to control and monitor the irrigation operations of the entire VINEYARD from the headquarters (Campegine-RE).
